Studi ini mengembangkan pendekatan untuk mengekstrak ciri warna sebagai referensi utama mendeteksi area objek yang bergerak dalam video. Video proyek memuat rekaman denyut jantung ikan Oryzias Celebencis masih rupa embrio. Metode diusulkan pertama-tama melakukan penapisan frame berwarna ruang RGB memakai filter median dan bilateral. Lalu, telah ditapis menjalani proses konversi ke abu-abu. Pada titik ini, keabuan akan diurai kuantil, segmen-segemen pembentuknya.
